Lisa Bruin and horses

My name is Lisa Bruin and I come from the UK .

I have worked with horses all my life, mainly helping horses with people problems.

I am passionate about helping people find a better way with horses using softness and kindness rather than force and fear.

I currently teach Cowboy Dressage clinics all over the UK and in Europe. I will travel wherever the demand takes me as I am committed to promoting good horsemanship through Cowboy Dressage and I am also deeply committed to the growth of Cowboy Dressage in the UK where western riding is a relatively small but growing discipline.

I live in Yorkshire with my husband, 2 cats, 2 dogs and 6 horses, one of which is a Lusitano mare who we rescued in an abused and starving state last year from Portugal, I am in the process of training her, again using the Cowboy Dressage principles of soft feel, my plan is to compete and do Cowboy Dressage demos with her in 2016.

When I’m not teaching clinics, I am found enjoying time with our own horses, working on my own education, over my time I have been fortunate to have spent time with some extremely influential horsemen and when I’m not riding or working horses you can usually find me researching horsemanship, horses really are my life 🙂
