Presenting Sponsors

Another year of promises. Cowboy Dressage World is forging full steam ahead in 2021. Here are a few things past, present, and future.

Update on CDW Gathering and Finals 2021

Our much loved and always anticipated Cowboy Dressage World Gathering and Finals show is scheduled for Oct 13-17 (Wed-Sat, awards on Sun) at Murieta Equestrian Center in Rancho Murieta, CA. We are excited to announce that the “amazing” Marli Perry will be managing this show and the “also amazing” Bev Meyers will be running the office. We will again offer the Parelli Buckle award. Mark your calendars and make plans to join us. After 2020 it will be quite a reunion and celebration among friends and horses, please join us.

Are you hosting a CDW Schooling Show or Gathering?

If so, please refer to the criteria for hosting a show. This is very important and we ask that all hosts follow the guidelines. Please read the whole page.

Are you a Partnership Test Fan?

The new CDW Partnership Tests are up and running, Enjoy. They are on our website.

New CDW Horse Show in Sonoma County, CA

We are so excited to share this news. There will be a CDW Gathering and Clinic at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa, CA. This will take place June 19-20. The Sonoma County Fairgrounds is a lovely facility. Cooler temps for summer. There will be a clinic given by Lyn Ringrose Moe and Garn Walker on Sat the 19th late afternoon and evening. We decided to run this format so you could show on Sat, get help in needed areas later in the day,  then show back on Sunday with new input from the clinicians.

Coming up is our 2nd Virtual Gathering of the year.  Find the premium and entries at: CLICK HERE

The Virtual Gatherings are a great way to participate in showing before our top-notch judges if you can’t make it to an in person Gathering.

Cowboy Dressage World Gathering Finals 2021

You will also want to mark your calendar for our Finals Gathering at Murieta Equestrian Center on October 14-17.  With more and more restrictions being lifted we are planning for a great event.

New Infrastructure is on the Horizon for CDW Professionals

CDW has taken on a daunting challenge. We are not a stranger to such things but this is a big one! The first committee is forming to begin the process for an online continuing educational program for the CDW Professionals. This is for Judges and Clinicians. This will not be implemented quickly but the wheels are in motion.

New Tests in the Works

Eitan and Lyn are working on new Walk Jog and Walk Jog Challenge Tests and a modification/revision on the Partnership Under Saddle Walk Walk Test #1.  All because you asked!

CDW Retreat and Super Clinic 2021 and 2022

“Wow”, “fantastic, fun and highly educational” are just a few of the words that come to mind. Beautiful setting should be in that sentence, too. “Thank you” to hosts Jody Grimm and Dave Ellis for once again opening up their ranch for am “epic” clinic. Cowboy Dressage and Ranch/Cattle work… it all comes together nicely under the skillful teachings of Lyn Ringrose Moe and Dave Ellis. Oh, and how that Jody can cook…no one goes hungry.

Yes, there will be a Retreat in 2022. Stay tuned.

Every Horse Show is supported by Volunteers. They are the wind beneath the wings of the event. They often do not get the recognition and kudos they deserve, but I can tell you that CDW Events would not happen without them.

CDW started as a “Gathering.” People who were showing offered to help around their test schedules. We wish to get back to that, to build the CDW Volunteers from within the show itself. It is like “watering your garden and fertilizing it” It grows and blossoms.

Please consider being a volunteer at your local Gathering. It will be much appreciated, and we are so thankful.

We are considering show entry credits to be applied to showing fees for volunteers. Will let you know how that works out.

Original CDW Court for Sale $2000

CDW is offering their original court with the CDW Brands, Letters, and Rails for sale. This court also has the Overhead Entry and barbwire on the rails. This was our premier court. It is well used but very functional. Lots of history and some TLC.  It will be a “star” in any arena. Many autographs from notable horsemen and women on the letters. Jack Brainard, Eitan, Lyn, Sheila Varian, Dr. Robert Miller, Lester Buckley, Rick Lamb, John Ensign, Richard Winters to name just a few. Kind of the brain trust of the western industry.

Shipping not included. It can be picked up at finals this year, (or sooner if you are nearby).  (16” rails so keep that in mind).  Challenge obstacles are not included.

Your sponsorships make all this happen. Please consider sponsoring – All of the events depend on it for success.  We cannot thank your generosity enough but we will say it again – Thank You!!!
