I grew up in Colorado on an animal rescue ranch where I learned to change the lives of horses while they made me who I am. I saw the amazing things that can happen when a horse learns to trust. My 1st horse, Raven’sWing, taught me many lessons as we competed in hunter jumper and eventing; she has been my constant companion for 18 years, through 4 states most recently in Sonoma, California.

I now own Ravendaisy Farms where I teach relationship based horsemanship to riders and horses.

Everyday I’m blessed with the opportunity to help people connect and communicate with their horses and to achieve their individual horsemanship goals. I believe in the benefits of cross training disciplines (for people and horses) so cowboy dressage became a natural draw for me, especially because of the mutual core value of putting the relationship first. I think this is so rare in the competition world and would love to see it become the norm.

In the Top Hand competition, I will be riding Grifter Gotta Gun, my five year old Quarter Horse from the Madonna Ranch in Paso Robles. I was lucky to meet Griff at the first Horsemen’s Reunion in 2012. He has been a great teaching partner and partner in crime and I’m very excited to ride with him in this competition.

I strive to never stop learning – from horses, horsemen, and horsewomen. I enjoy a variety of equestrian disciplines, and love learning from top professionals from a wide range of disciplines, including natural horsemanship, dressage, eventing, and reined cow horse. I can’t wait to see what I learn from competing with this amazing group of top hands!
