Jadon Schiller and Miz Connection V

This year will be my first year competing at the Finals for Cowboy Dressage, and I couldn’t be more excited. I will be riding “Miz Connection V” owned by Jean Rhodes of Rhodes River Ranch in the Top Hand Competition. Miz Connection V was purchased by Jean from Sheila Varian Arabians in early 2015 and has since been in training with Western Sky Horsemanship. Miz Connection V is a sweet athletic mare with a lot of potential in the world of Cowboy Dressage. Miz Connection V and I competed in our first Cowboy Dressage show together in August at the Far West Show, Bend Oregon. Since then, we have been diligently working on improving our softness and partnership in preparation for the Finals.

As for me, I started riding as a student with Western Sky Horsemanship at the age of 12. Over the years I have been fortunate enough to participate in a wide array of events including ranch clinics in Montana, competitive trail, and now Cowboy Dressage shows which have only grown my diverse background in horsemanship. I am now an instructor with Western Sky Horsemanship and enjoy sharing my passion and love for horses with riders of all ages.  I still have a lot to learn, but I am more than excited to continue developing my skills as well as helping Miz Connection V advance through the world of Cowboy Dressage.
