New and Revised “Need to Know”

Gathering and Finals Oct 12th – 14th, 2023

• The show is 3 days this year. Awards on Sunday, the 15th in the morning
• Trifecta must fill at least two teams to hold competition so please sign up in order that we can continue this fun competition.
• Riding for the Brand will be replacing two tests. The three qualifying tests for 2023 will be: Challenge Walk Walk Test. WJL #3 Open Court. Freestyle Open Court. Big news is the Final Competition on Saturday night with the Mystery Test and Freestyle rides will be done on the OPEN COURT!
• No dinner on Friday afternoon …. Beverage and Desserts.
• If you wish to show in the Liberty Neck Rope or Liberty Freestyle you must sign additional release and send in with your entries. Excited to be offering these tests.
• If you wish to stay on the show grounds, living trailers will now be available at very reasonably rates. Contact Angela at: 3dhorsemanship4p@gmail.com
• Our Judges for Finals this year are: Carol Tice, Davalee Minden and Jill VonIlten.
• Please be aware that there are two Freestyle Competitions. High Point and Championship.

Exciting News! A new educational program for CDWPA Clinicians and Judges is in it’s very early stages. This will be an online program offering accredited “boot camps” world wide. Very Exciting and a much needed and a long awaited dream for our discipline. Thank you Stephen Ladek at Bay Area Equestrian Network  for taking on this project with us. Looking forward to it.
