Hi I’m Suzette Bird and I’m an Adult amateur rider.  After not riding for over 30 years, I met Roxy 7 years  ago as a lease horse . Well, so much for that!  Since purchasing her soon after, This beautiful paint mare and I have traveled California together. From the East Bay Area hills to the Sierra trails around  Lake Tahoe. But our partnership truly began in the Arena. Specifically Cowboy Dressage Sundays with Susan Doctor. Our time working with Susan there has  improved our balance, harmony and soft feel.  Last year we won our first Buckle in none other than Amateur Soft Feel.  The highest honor in my opinion.

This year Roxy turned 23 and will soon retire from Cowboy Dressage to trail riding & lead line with my granddaughter Jordyn. This mare has given me more than I could have hoped for and I’m so grateful for every day we’ve had together.
